Hello, fellow Science Olympians. First off, I would like to congratulate you all on another successful year! We were able to earn 12th place overall this year, and we improved our performance in several events. I would also like to ask you all to consider re-electing me as your Earth and Space Science Coordinator. This year, under my supervision, we scored very well in each Earth and Space category, earning 7th place in Geologic Mapping, 8th place in Rocks and Minerals, 12th place in Dynamic Planet, and 14th place in Astronomy. If re-elected, I will improve upon the objective tests that I created this year, and I will strive to help members understand what will be tested during each Earth and Space event. Since next year will be my 4th year in Science Olympiad, I bring a wealth of experience, especially within the Earth and Space category – I’ve competed in Astronomy and Dynamic Planet for the past two years. I also have background knowledge in most of the other S.O. events, since I’ve taken Honors Physics, AP Chemistry, and AP Biology, so I’ll be able to assist the other officers with their preparations if necessary. I believe that next year’s S.O. team will continue to have talent and potential, and I will work with the other officers to prepare our members as thoroughly as possible before the big competition.
